In partnership with Kainga Ora we tested a pilot to relocate Kainga Ora houses (tagged for decommission) for Papakainga on Maori land .  These are homes that were still functioning as rental homes prior to relocation.  Six homes in total were relocated to various land blocks (a mix of two, three and four bedroom). The pilot demonstrates that these homes can be consented, refurbished to a high quality and connected to services for under $200,000.00 per home.
